Healthy Honey Sesame Banana Bread

You all loved my OG healthy banana bread so much, I had to play around with a new version—and this one might be even better. This recipe came about one afternoon thanks to a bag of white sesame seeds patiently waiting on my pantry shelf.

I kept the same wholesome base you know and love—gluten-free, naturally sweetened, made in one bowl—but swapped out the maple syrup for honey and stirred sesame seeds through the mix (and on top, because golden crunch = always a good idea).

The result? A perfectly moist, lightly sweet loaf with a subtle nutty edge that reminds me of those Aussie sesame snaps my mum used to pop in my school lunchbox (anyone else?). Plus, it’s high in protein and will keep you full without sending your blood sugar crashing—so it’s perfect for breakfast, snack time, or anytime you need a little sustained energy.

Still super easy, still freezer-friendly, and still the one I reach for midweek when I want something nourishing but just sweet enough.

Trust me—if you liked the first one, you’re going to be all over this. I highly recommend toasting a thick slice and topping it with peanut butter, a drizzle of honey, and a pinch of sea salt—pure bliss!
